Breast Reduction Surgeries for Men

If many women would love to have bigger breasts, men are not exactly thrilled to have them. Having fatty breasts, which seem like the breasts of a woman, may result to low self-esteem on men. Some men enroll their selves into physical fitness programs to get rid of those fat deposits on their breasts. However, for those who do not have the time to spare for the daily or even weekly visits to the gym, male breast reduction can be an option to solve their boobs problem.

Male breast reduction is a kind of liposuction wherein excess glandular tissues in the breasts are removed. Typically, a person who undergoes this kind of surgery may experience a few side effects such as small time bruising, burning symptoms and soreness. There are also times that the aforementioned side effects get associated with fluid accumulation, slight damage to the area of the skin where the surgery took place, infection and sagginess. It is important to avoid sun exposure for a couple of days after the surgery. Otherwise, the side effects may become permanent.

Generally, the recovery period for patients who undergo male breast reduction surgeries is three to seven days. Bruises and normal swelling gained from the surgery may take three to six months to subside.
